Event lighting rental in Nice
A wedding in a country estate, a corporate evening on a rooftop, a concert under a marquee: we rent out the lighting inventory we use on our own bookings, delivered already programmed to your plot. You place it, plug it in and launch the scene.
Light does more for the atmosphere of a room than any decoration. Provided it is aimed at the right spots, and set before it reaches the venue.
Our Service
Four ways to light an event
Lighting the venue itself
Fixtures placed on the floor, washing colour up along walls, trees or a façade. Nothing transforms a bare room more radically, before the first guest has even walked in.
We match the hue to your decoration: a warm white for a stone villa, a saturated colour for a themed evening. These units run on battery, so they can sit where there is no socket at all, outdoors included.
Dance floor lighting
Motorised moving heads on stands or truss, with beams that follow the tempo instead of sweeping the room at random. The floor stays readable: you can make out faces, not just beams.
Scenes are stored before departure — grand entrance, speeches, first dance, end of the night. A handset with a few buttons is then enough to move between them, with nobody stuck behind a console.
Stage, speeches and filming
A clean front light for a speaker, a live band or a buffet meant to be photographed. Without it, the evening footage comes out dark and grainy, whatever gear the photographer brought.
We supply profile fixtures to frame a precise area — a lectern, a cake, a projected logo — and bars with adjustable colour temperature, so skin tones do not turn yellow on camera.
Effects and machines
A smoke machine to make beams visible, a fine haze that lasts without filling the room, a follow spot to isolate an entrance or a first dance.
Every machine ships with its fluid and its remote. We flag the precautions specific to the venue, especially where the room has sensitive fire detection: that is the issue that comes up most often, and it is best settled before the day itself.
Equipment & gear
The lighting inventory available to rent
Everything is serviced between jobs and tested before each departure. These are the families of fixtures most often asked for.
LED moving heads, wash and beam
Motorised fixtures driven over DMX, for dance floors and rhythmic effects. Individually, or in sets of four already mounted on a bar.
Battery-powered LED pars
Small self-contained fixtures for floor placement, lasting up to a full night off-mains. Colour set in advance or changed by remote.
DMX consoles and handsets
A lighting console for full rigs, or a simple memory handset to step through scenes with no technical knowledge at all.
Smoke and haze machines
Dense smoke to reveal beams for the length of a track, light haze for a continuous, discreet result. Fluid and remote supplied.
Stands, bars and rigging
Telescopic stands, T-bars, truss and safety wires to rig overhead by the book, including above an audience.
How it works
How a lighting rental works
You describe the venue
A few photos, rough dimensions and where the sockets are is enough to start. If you happen to have a floor plan, it saves us asking twice.
We draw the lighting plot
Every fixture is placed on the plan and we agree together on the areas to cover: floor, tables, façade, stage. You know exactly what ships and where it goes.
The gear ships programmed
DMX addressing done and scenes stored at the workshop, then tested for real. On site, all that is left is to place, plug in and press.
Pickup or delivery, then return
We walk you through the handling at departure, in a handful of minutes. On return, every unit is checked — which is also what guarantees the next client gets working gear.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does lighting rental cost in Nice?
The budget depends on the number of fixtures, the duration and whether a technician is needed. We price from your floor plan and send a detailed quote within 48 hours.
Does someone have to run the lighting?
Not for standard rigs: they ship programmed and run from a handset with a few buttons. A technician becomes useful beyond twenty or so fixtures, or as soon as anything has to be rigged overhead.
Is the DMX programming included?
Yes. Addressing and the basic scenes are prepared before departure. Send us the running order and we add your key moments: entrance, speeches, first dance.
What electrical supply should we plan for?
LED fixtures draw little power: a standard room rig runs on two 16 A circuits. The exact requirement is confirmed with the quote, and battery units take over wherever there is no socket.
Can the fixtures be installed outdoors?
Yes, with units rated for it and a shelter solution in case of rain. It is worth settling early: it changes which gear is chosen, and therefore the quote.
Do you deliver outside Nice?
We deliver across the department and as far as Monaco. Workshop pickup remains an option for small rigs, which fit in a car boot.
